Flying High and Free|Porcelain Teaware|A Contemporary Tea Set for a Mind That Soars Free

A contemporary tea set that lets the mind move freely

Flying High and Free begins with the idea of letting the mind respond naturally to its surroundings.

By integrating the lid, knob, and handle into a single upward gesture, the tea set reshapes the rhythm of lifting and pouring—allowing each movement to feel light, fluid, and unhindered, while remaining grounded and composed.

Design Detail

The most distinctive feature of Flying High and Free lies in the integration of the lid, knob, and handle into a single structural line.

With the handle fixed to the lid, precise control is required in both design and firing to ensure stability and safety during pouring.

The ruyi motif is transformed into an upward, flowing gesture, while the full, simplified teapot body provides a calm visual counterbalance—allowing elegance and auspicious meaning to emerge without excess.

Product Detail

Design Concept

Flying High and Free is a porcelain tea set defined by the integration of handle and lid, using flowing form and balanced structure to reshape the act of pouring. Through this design, tea drinking becomes an expression of freedom within order—where movement, rhythm, and state of mind align.

Rather than emphasizing form alone, Flying High and Free creates space for the mind to move.

The teapot body gathers and steadies energy, while the upward-reaching handle extends emotion and intention—free, yet controlled.

As warm tea fills the vessel, form and energy circulate between hand and heart. This reflects the idea of Qi · Du—that within a vessel resides an attitude toward life, where structure and rhythm together form a quiet aesthetic discipline.

Occasions or Usage

Flying High and Free moves easily between action and stillness.

When not in use, it remains present as a sculptural object—holding symbolic meaning and visual calm within the space.

Ideal For

Flying High and Free is suited for those who seek freedom without losing balance.

  • For daily tea rituals that value lightness and flow

  • As a gift expressing wishes of smooth progress and uplifted spirit

  • For display or collection, representing inner freedom and mental elevation
