Wealth and Honor, beginning with the strokes of the characters Heinrich Wang says: "The measure of wealth and honor is integrity, fairness, and thoughtful care that lets both sides prosper." One face of the vase is composed from the character 富, the other from 貴. The strokes become solid form — a reminder that true prosperity comes from the basic principles of how we live and work.

One face Wealth: abundance gathered in The 富 face is built from open horizontals and strong verticals, symbolizing wealth, resources and opportunity coming together, as if gathering energy from every direction.

One face Honor: a bearing of its own The 貴 face is built from restrained strokes and a tall structure, symbolizing inner character and dignity; on this side the vase stands more upright, carrying a scholarly, dignified presence even on its own.

Heinrich Wang, founder of NewChi Porcelain and of Tittot, is one of Taiwan's most representative contemporary artists in white porcelain and glass. He brings philosophy and poetry into the design of objects; his work has been invited to exhibitions at art institutions in Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing, New York, Paris and Tokyo, and is held in collections in Taiwan and abroad.
