Minimalist Design. Poetic Gesture. A Ritual of Presence.
In Serene Rhythms, designer Heinrich Wang explores how the art of tea can help us return to stillness.
The series includes seven teaware sets, each with its own symbolic meaning—Dream Fulfilled, Flying Ruyi, Lasting Fortune, Grace in Motion, Together as One, Twin Stars, and Wind & Shadow.
Together, they form a lyrical collection of contemporary forms and ancient resonance.
What makes this series unique is its unexpected handle placement. On some teapots, the handle is fused into the lid—inviting a new way of interaction.
These subtle shifts challenge muscle memory and habitual movement, drawing us back into the present. The result is a tea experience not only of aroma and flavor, but of gesture, stillness, and flow.
Crafted in pure white porcelain with NewChi’s signature transparent glaze, the pieces echo the clarity of modern Zen spaces, while preserving the warmth of traditional ritual.
