The Meaning Behind “Double 8, Double Blessings”

In Taiwan, August 8th is celebrated as Father’s Day, as the number “8” (bā) shares a similar pronunciation with “dad” (bà). For this occasion, NewChi Porcelain presents a curated selection of pieces featuring circular, gourd, or figure-eight motifs—symbols of harmony, wellness, and continuity.
